Altin Duka

Altin DukaAfter practicing different styles of yoga for four years, in September, 2006, someone bet me that i couldn't endure one Bikram Yoga class. I was captivated. One month into my practice, I knew this was it. The layers that are peeled off physically, mentally, and spiritually to get to the core of oneself within those intense 90 minutes are beyond wordy description. Enjoyment comes by taking the time to listen and looking at oneself in those hard 90 minutes. Being a Bikram Yoga teacher really makes me proud of myself. I am excited to share my knowledge of this Yoga practice with others. I love meeting the wonderful students and observing how Bikram Yoga makes a difference in their lives.

Michael Gilbourne

Michael GilbourneI was born in Paris, France, but have called the USA my home since 1997 when I moved here for university. In 2001, I was certified in Bikram and teaching has been a center point in my life ever since. Through practice I have learned that "Opening the body is the same as opening the mind".
In realizing this truth, we become our own ultimate teacher and succeed
at everything we put our minds to. I am looking forward to being part of
the Dupont Circle yoga team, to share my insights, learn from you and inspire wonderful yogis.

Tim, Visiting Instructor (Toronto)

TimI started Bikram yoga to get rid of skeletal discomfort from playing the violin and found something powerful about the 26 postures in the heat.
I'm most interested in using the series to heal deep inner imbalances
and to allow this healing to surround and overflow the body in savasana. I'm thrilled to be a part of the dynamic Bikram Yoga Dupont community.

Yasmin Tuazon

Yasmin TuazonYasmin Tuazon became a teacher in June 2005. She works as an actor and will shamelessly promote any show she is in. Yasmin likes coffee, naps, NY Times crossword puzzles and Teaism. She also likes it when students bring jokes to the front desk (keep it relatively clean, folks).
